Romantic romanticism cardigan is inspired by John William Waterhouse’s The Soul of the Rose, also known as My Sweet Rose. Love, adoration and longing are in the air when you see the piece. This thick cardigan features volume body shape, extreme puff sleeve with contrast slim long edge. When it is buttoned up, cardigan has more of an asymmetric draped top look.

KNITTING DENSITY
In horizontal ribbing stitch using 6 mm [US 10] needles

In double stockinette stitch using 5.5 mm [US 9] needles
15 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]
 
SIZE GUIDE
The cardigan is designed to have approx. 10-20 cm [3.9-7.9 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be about 10-20 cm [3.9-7.9 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The sizes1 (2) 3 are designed to fit a bust circumference of 90-100 (110-120) 125-135 cm [35.4-39.4 (43.3-47.2) 49.2-53.1 inches]. 
 
SUGGESTED MATERIALS
1100 (1400) 1650 gr.            
Aiayu, Mechera Handknit Yarn, 50 gr. / 50 m - Pure Natural
Knit the cardigan with 1 strand of Mechera Handknit Yarn.
 
2-3 buttons: approx. 2.4cm [1” inch] diam. (if use)
2 buttons are sufficient enough for the cardigan. Photo shows how a 3-button arrangement would look like.
 
Yarn Alternatives
Any bulky (12 ply) to super bulky yarn would be a good choice.
