Thena Top

Thena comes from word, Athena, who is the Greek Goddess of Wisdom and War. Thena top is driven by the impression of being feminine, smart, brave and also confident. Top is shaped to be worn as a camisole or top by itself, or good with styling with layering.
Thena top is worked from top down in sections, then join together in brioche stitch with two strands of cotton-linen fingering yarn.

GAUGE
In brioche stitch using 3 mm [US 2.5] needles
18 sts x 44 rows (22 knit stitches in brioche stitch) = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]
*   Knit a swatch before beginning the project to check if the recommended needle size and measurements are the proper gauge for you. Swatch must be blocked before measuring the gauge, as brioche stitch expands.

Thena top is designed for regular fit to have a negative ease of approx. 5-8 cm [2-3inches]. Size XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) are intended for a bust circumference of 80-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-105) 105-110 (110-120) cm [31.5-35.4 (35.4-37.4) 37.4-39.4 (39.4-41.3) 41.3-43.3 (43.3-47.2) inches].

*  Knit Thena top using two strands of Bomulin yarn together. Please calculate more meters if you prefer to knit a longer version.
