The sweater wears looser due to the high side-opening design. Smaller size has larger ease while larger size has less ease. It is designed to be about 15 cm [6 inches] larger TO 10 cm [4 inches] smaller in circumference than your bust measurement, depending on preference.

To determine which size to choose, can be varies from person to person. It would be a good idea to decide which look you are going for first, an oversized sweater or a fitted shirt. Then, pick the size accordingly.

Photo shows a model with bust circumference (or around your widest part of your upper body) of 88 cm [34.6 inches] wearing a size 1 with approx. 14 cm [5.5 inches] positive ease. The look is going for an oversized sweater.
